    Capacity also exists for assembly and testing of items including oil pumps, transmission, and steering units.

    R.L. Walsh have a high level CAD CAM system which enables components to be programmed to a high degree of accuracy, quickly and efficiently. These programs are then downloaded directly to our range of 15 CNC machines.

    R.L. Walsh uses a totally integrated software program which is networked throughout the company. The network provides all information to our work stations in line with the requirements of our ISO 9001:2000 Registration.

    R.L. Walsh has recently undergone a complete refurbishing program aimed at making the company one of the UK's leaders in production engineering and gear cutting.

    R.L. Walsh are proud of the part they took in helping the 'Thrust Project' to take the current world land speed record over Mach 1. This was a tribute to the companies engineering skills and the automotive heritage of Coventry, UK.


  • Ethos:   The Company was founded in February 1968 as a partnership with R.L. Walsh and his two sons Mr R.M. Walsh and Mr D.O. Walsh producing Jigs/Fixtures and Tooling for motor vehicle and associated trades.  R.L. Walsh has recently undergone a complete refurbishing program aimed at making the company one of the leaders in production engineering and gear cutting.

    R.L. Walsh prides itself on its commitment to workforce training and workshop environment. This leads to a dedicated team culture with a vast resource and knowledge of the products they manufacture.

    R.L. Walsh are BS EN ISO 9001:2000 accredited. We also have approved supplier status from various household named companies including Unipart, Agco (M.F.), Land Rover etc.

    Our purpose built quality department contains the latest in CMM technology having capacity for automated inspection of components and gears. All instruments and gauges etc are controlled on a networked gauge management system.
    All welding is carried out to Lloyds registered standard.

    N.D.T Magnetic, current flow crack detection is carried out in-house by certified operators.
