Profile:   Mouldrite Toolmakers are specialists in the manufacture of tooling for plastic (injection moulds), Rubber (injection, compression and transfer), Zinc and Aluminium (pressure diecast tools and unit dies), and Thermosets (Injection, compression and injection-compression). Our product portfolio is varied, encompassing automotive, defence and domestic appliance to name a few. Tool size up to 1.5 tonnes with ease and larger if required. We also offer a competitive service for tool refurbishment, modification and repair.

We have manufactured a variety of tools requiring most types of tool construction. These include mechanical and hydraulic side cores, embedded actions, stripper plates, unscrewing mechanisms, interlocking cores, hot runners and many other tool permutations.

We are able to support companies in the development of their products in the component design. We can convert 2D to 3D, or create a part model from sketches. Our aim is to understand the customer requirements in order to offer the most cost effective tooling solution.

A significant percentage of our turnover is from tool modifications, refurbishment and repairs. We have local contacts with heat treatment, specialist welding (including laser) and parts suppliers. This allows us to offer a high level of service to local companies in quick response situations.

In summary, Mouldrite Toolmakers offer toolmaking, tool maintenance, tool repair and input to part design for tool optimisation.
Ethos:   Mouldrite Toolmakers are committed to providing a Full Service Supply of tooling suitable for medium to high volume production. We can also develop prototype tooling to verify designs prior to full production specification tools being ordered.

Our aim is to build a lasting relationship with customers which will give benefits to both parties. We can offer support in areas not normally covered by the customers core skills.

Mouldrite Toolmakers can support the design and manufacture processes in order to optimse our tool design to the customers real needs..
